2021 NFL Week 10 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 10 Predictions

Ravens -8.5 over Dolphins, 27-10

-Ravens are just better and the Dolphins are beat up, leaking oil, and on a short week.

Cowboys -9 over Falcons, 27-14

-Honestly, I don’t love this game. But the over at 54 is pretty good. I just think it is more likely the Cowboys will get on track offensively.

Titans -3 over Saints, 24-19

-Both teams are missing key participants, but it is 2021: the Saints are missing a QB and the Titans are missing an RB. One is more important than the other.

Colts -10.5 over Jaguars, 27-13

-Great Jonathan Taylor game.

Patriots -2 over Browns, 26-20

-Never thought I’d feel this confident about the Pats. I really like this Browns team, but there’s too much turmoil and injury concerns.

Bills -12 over Jets, 31-17

-Super glad the Bills lost last week because this line would’ve been something like 17. This way, we get the free 2 points because it should be at least two TDs.

Steelers -8 over Lions, 24-12

-Whatever, I guess.

Bucs -9.5 over WFT, 34-23

-This assumes any Bucs receivers are healthy.

Cardinals -10.5 over Panthers, 31-10

-Respect to the Cards.

Chargers -3 over Vikings, 30-26

-I can’t wait to see how the Vikings are going to blow this game.

Broncos -2.5 over Eagles, 21-16

-Broncos are a good/bad team and will likely take care of business in a fairly unwatchable game.

Packers -3.5 over Seahawks, 31-27

-This assumes Rodgers and Russell are both playing. And in that case, I love the over of 49 here.

Chiefs -2 over Raiders, 27-23

-I hate having to pick the Chiefs, but the Raiders are a mess. Nothing would surprise me here, however.

Rams -4 over 49ers, 37-17

-I am personally disappointed in the San Francisco 49ers. They had the Cards last week coming off a tough loss with no Kyler or Hopkins, and still got crushed. The Rams are adding good players on a daily basis. Rams -one million.

2021 NFL Week 9 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 9 Predictions

Texans +6 over Dolphins, 20-23

-This is just a vote of confidence in Tyrod Taylor coming back and being at all competent.

Cowboys -10 over Broncos, 33-20

-Assuming Dak is back, this should be an easy win and provide plenty of opportunities for my Broncos WRs to get going.

Bengals -2.5 over Brown, 27-19

-I don’t know what happened last week to the Bengals but I still believe in them. The Browns are just too beat up right now.

Ravens -6 over Vikings, 27-20

-Ravens are just rested and ready to dismantle this mentally weak Vikings team.

Raiders -3 over Giants, 26-20

-With the Raiders rested, this should be an easy win. Waller is going to have a huge game.

Saints -6 over Falcons, 27-13

-The Falcons suck. I hate betting on them. The minute I get any confidence in them, they crush my soul. I can’t stand watching them play football. Between their offense and the way that the Saints have to win games right now, this is functionally unwatchable. I hate Atlanta.

Bills -14.5 over Jaguars, 38-6

-Did you know that because Jon Gruden technically resigned…“first coach fired” is still on the table in many places? Gotta be Urban, right?

Patriots -3.5 over Panthers, 27-20

-This is kind of free money because the Panthers have not been good for over a month. The Pats have been on a roll, on the rise, and we still haven’t seen the breakout Mac Jones game. One of these days, he’s going to complete a high percentage of passes AND throw the ball down the field AND Jakobi Meyers may actually score a TD one day.

Chargers -1.5 over Eagles, 31-22

-Chargers are good. Eagles are not good. Yeah, that’s the tweet.

49ers -2 over Cards, 20-16

-This is assuming that Kyler and Hopkins don’t play.

Packers +8.5 over Chiefs, 23-20

-Yeah, I said it. I understand that the Packers have a lot going on, but there’s all the support in the world behind Jordan Love, they get DAdams back, and the Chiefs don’t look good. I’m definitely taking the points and why the heck not, calling the upset.

Rams -7.5 over Titans, 31-17

-All the love and respect to the Titans, but there is no way.

Bears +6.5 over Steelers, 16-19

-For the record, I don’t like either team. I am just taking the points.

2021 NFL Week 8 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 8 Predictions

Bills -14 over Dolphins, 31-10

-The situation in Miami is going south quickly.

Falcons -3 over Panthers, 23-13

-Overreaction theater really applies to the Falcons in Week 1 (just like the Packers). It isn’t always pretty, but the Falcons have been in every game for quite a few weeks now.

Browns -4.5 over Steelers, 24-14

-Here’s hoping everyone is healthy. Even if they aren’t, it’s still Big Ben.

Bengals -11 over Jets, 31-6

-Ding Ding Ding! Eliminator pick of the week and one half of the easy tease.

Rams -16 over Texans, 37-6

-...and there’s your other half.

Titans +3 over Colts, 27-24

-I don’t understand this line, but then again, I don’t understand the Colts. Also, call me crazy, but does this game have the two best RBs in football (much respect to Dalvin Cook and Alvin Kamara).

Lions +3.5 over Eagles, 22-20

-Philadelphia is not good. Nick Sirianni has way too many highlighters in his hat. Jalen Hurts has the biggest discrepancy between fantasy and real life I think I have ever seen. He’s going to carry people to titles if he doesn’t get benched for Gardner Minshew. The Lions are home, hungry, playing hard every week, and Dan Campbell just has to get some kneecaps. Detroit!

Bears +4 over 49ers, 14-13

-I don’t know, I don’t want to know, I’m not going to watch it. I’m taking the four points with the home team.

Jaguars +3.5 over Seahawks, 21-24

-Jags are coming off of a bye and the Seattle offense is so bad with Geno. I’m taking the field goal and extra half point.

Pats +4.5 over Chargers, 27-25

-I love the Chargers, and they are coming off of a bye, but there’s going to be 50,000 New England fans in that stadium...and the Patriots are all warmed up right now. No idea the result, but the 4.5 is just too big of a number.

Bucs -4.5 over Saints, 34-17

-Gronk is back, and while I respect the Saints defense a lot, they just can’t score with the Bucs.

WFT +3.5 over Broncos, 22-23

-Just cover. Please?

Vikings -3 over Cowboys, 27-20

-If Cooper Rush is the QB for Dallas, only having to hang 3 is a gift for the Vikings. Too bad, this game on paper was really good.

Giants +10.5 over Chiefs, 24-30

-Don’t get me wrong, the Chiefs probably win this game. But 10.5 is a BIG number.

2021 NFL Week 7 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 7 Predictions

Browns -2 over Broncos

-This was a painful game.

Panthers -3 over Giants, 20-16

-This is going to be brutal, but the Panthers have a chance at a winning season.

Falcons -2 over Dolphins, 20-16

-See above.

Packers -8 over WFT, 31-20

-The first half of a great tease…

Pats -7 over Jets, 23-10

-...and there it finishes.

Bengals +6.5 over Ravens, 27-26

-Just cover, baby! Super excited about Chase vs. Marlon Humphrey.

Chiefs -4.5 over Titans, 34-27

-"Honestly, it just depends on what kind of mood the Titans are in." - Caitlyn Verdi

Rams -16 over Lions, 37-10

-Stafford doesn’t have any...specific...motivation to defeat Detroit...does he?

Raiders -3 over Eagles, 29-24

-Two “who knows” teams. Two “can’t wait for junk time” QBs.

Cards -18 over Texans, 33-13

-JJ Watt and D. Hopkins...worth about ten points apiece, right?

Bears +13 over Bucs, 22-33

-Let’s be clear. This has 21-3 after one and 28-10 after half written all over it. BUT, the Bucs have no corners, naturally, let up, and Fields is looking a little more comfortable every week. Just a cover.

49ers -4 over Colts, 24-17

-Tough to predict two teams that seem affected by how the wind is blowing. Storms are coming for both. If they lose here, the atmosphere is going to be rocky in the front offices for both if the QBs don’t play well. (See weather report for tomorrow’s game). I’m so funny.

Saints -4.5 over Seahawks, 30-17

-I don’t understand why this game is only 4.5. Seahawks are beat up and Saints are off a bye.

2021 NFL Week 6 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 6 Predictions

Eagles +7.5 over Bucs, 24-27

-You can ask my father...this is what I predicted.

Dolphins -3 over Jags, 20-16

-With absolutely no confidence whatsoever.

Bengals -3.5 over Lions, 27-22

-The Lions have shown that you shouldn’t lay a bunch of points against them. But, this is a small enough number. The Bengals have shown they are good enough overall to solidly win these kinds of games.

Chiefs -7 over WFT, 31-23

-The Chiefs aren’t right. But, they don’t need to be for this.

Vikings -2.5 over Panthers, 27-24

-This comes down to the Vikings having Dalvin Cook and the Panthers not having CMC.

Colts -10 over Texans, 24-13

-One more week of Davis Mills, everyone.

Rams -8 over Giants, 34-23

-The Rams are going to crush the Giants, but Dimes has shown the ability to make games respectable.

Chargers +3 over Ravens, 34-31

-All respect to the Ravens, but the Chargers are HERE. This is a well-rounded team, well-coached, and yes, have the better QB.

Packers -6 over Bears, 30-17

-I’m not sure what happened last week with Chicago/Vegas, but I think it has more to do with Vegas. Packers do as they normally do versus the Bears.

Cards +3.5 over Browns, 27-26

-Half of the Cards coaching staff missing this game is concerning. However, the loss of Chubb for Cleveland makes me feel pretty comfortable taking the extra half point. Not often do you get 3.5 while taking the 5-0 team in a matchup.

Broncos -4 over Raiders, 20-14

-Probably just a stay away overall until we see what the Raiders look like.

Cowboys -3.5 over Patriots, 30-22

-I love the respect New England is getting. But, 3.5? Versus the Cowboys?

Steelers -5 over Seahawks, 17-10

-No Russell, no Carson….there’s just nothing else I can do but take the Steelers. Ugh.

Bills -5.5 over Titans, 34-20

-I’ve like the Titans as much as the next guy (but my heart is with the Chargers now). But the Bills look like the best team in football top to bottom. There’s no other answer here.

2021 NFL Week 5 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 5 Predictions

Rams -3 over Seahawks, 27-23

-I had it everybody, calm down. Wish I got more out of Stafford...but I got it.

Falcons -2.5 over Jets, 20-17

-Send our best and brightest to London, everyone. Take the over on Pitts, because if he doesn’t do it this week, he never will.

Saints -2.5 over WFT, 23-20

-I don’t know what to do with this Saints team, but the extra half point makes me feel okay picking the tougher and better-coached team.

Packers -3 over Bengals, 37-28

-Ooh! Free money! In what world are the Bengals covering this spread?

Vikings -10 over Lions, 24-9

-Oh, I see we’ve gone from “Lions are playing tough and hanging in there” to “This team isn’t very good and their limited options are now well-known by other opponents.”

Broncos -1.5 over Steelers, 21-16

-Ok...I was a little overzealous in picking the Broncos last week. This week, I feel better about it because the Steelers have the complete opposite player from Lamar Jackson in Big Ben. Bridgewater seems okay, so that’ll be enough.

Titans -4.5 over Jags, 26-20

-The Titans don’t look good, have injuries everywhere, and haven’t put four good quarters together all year. However, the Jags coach is spending time at the club and has probably lost his team. Can’t bet on that.

Panthers -3 over Eagles, 31-20

-The Eagles can kind of score on offense. The Panthers can stop people fairly well on defense. The Eagles can’t stop anyone on defense. The Panthers have DJ Moore. Thank you for listening to my geometry proof.

Bucs -10 over Dolphins, 36-12

-The battle of Florida. Oh, that’s right, none of us care.

Patriots -8 over Texans, 17-6

-I’m extremely and aggressively aware the Patriots are missing FOUR offensive linemen. However, it appears that Davis Mills is missing talent. This could be ugly.

Chargers -2.5 over Browns, 31-20

-The talent is not that different in this matchup. The problem is that Cleveland, especially with whatever is going on with Baker, cannot score with the Chargers.

Raiders -5.5 over Bears, 27-21

-Fields starting is good for the Bears. Bill Lazor calling the plays for the Bears is also good (Matt Nagy shouldn’t call plays). But, the Raiders have been a much more efficient team this year, are coming off of a loss, and are at home. It’s just too much.

Cardinals -5 over 49ers, 32-24

-*Gritted Teeth* I WANT TO PICK THIS UPSET SO BADLY. I can see the game script. They run the ball 45 times, Trey Lance has 10 RPOs, and 10 play actions. But I can’t. It’s Kyler. He’s going to run around and make 5 plays a game that no one else can.

Cowboys -7 over Giants, 39-31

-BIG points in this game. With my under-the-radar, fantasy superstar, Danny Dimes. However, the Dallas offensive machine rolls through. They are just a much better team top to bottom.

Bills +3 over Chiefs, 34-31

-I understand that Josh Allen is 0-2 versus the Chiefs. However, the offenses almost don’t matter because they are so similar. An elite QB, with a few star-positioned players, can’t really run the ball, and do a few wild and unexpectedly great things every game. The difference is that the Bills have a far more talented and consistent defense right now.

Ravens -7 over Colts, 24-14

-This almost feels like a Monday night where both teams meet, discuss their desire to move quickly through the game, each run the ball 40-45 times, and we’re all done by 10:50 PM.
