2015 NFL Week 3 Predictions

Week 3 Predictions
Giants -3 over Ethnic Slurs
-I think my track record of picking against Washington will suffice to prove I picked this.

Falcons -1.5 over Cowboys
-I believe the next few weeks will be me picking whoever plays Brandon Weeden, especially since the lines haven’t seen to have been adjusted properly.

Bengals +2.5 over Ravens, CIN SU
-Baltimore is a mess. The Bengals are really good on both lines.

Colts -3.5 over Titans
-If Mariota defeats an 0-2 Luck, I WILL buy that jersey. Probably though, the Colts get in the win column this week and Luck puts up some gaudy numbers.

Pats -13.5 over Jags
-This is totally the game that the Pats let the other team backdoor cover, right? Ehh, I’ll still roll with it.

Panthers -10 over Saints
-This is painful. Brandin Cooks is crying somewhere right now.

Raiders +3.5 over Browns, OAK SU
-Derek Carr +3.5 over QB Roulette.

Jets -1 over Eagles
-The Eagles may not be good! The Jets are extremely decent.

Rams -1 over Steelers
-I think that defensive line wins their matchup and dominates this game.

Chargers +1 over Vikings
-Rivers is completing 80% of his passes!

Cards -6.5 over Niners
-Yes, please. Carson continues his amazing run here. I love these Cardinals.

Dolphins -2.5 over Bills
-The Pats showed the blueprint. Other teams will now execute it. Jarvis Laundry might have 13 catches in this one.

Seahawks -14.5 over Bears
-This one might so bad it actually is hard to watch. The Bears may have the first pick in the 2016 draft.

Packers -6.5 over Chiefs
-Aaron Rodgers man, Aaron Rodgers.

2015 NFL Week 2 Predictions

Week 2 Predictions
Cards -2 over Bears
-I love my Cards, and no Alshon Jeffrey.

Falcons +2.5 over Giants, ATL SU
-Giants defense is a big problem.

Panthers -3 over Texans
-QB Roulette gets you killed.

Pats -1 over Bills
-I know the Bills are better than most think and the Pats defense wasn’t awesome last week, but it is hard to bet against Brady in Buffalo. Or just generally ever.

Chargers +3.5 over Bengals, SD SU
-Phillip Rivers getting points on Andy Dalton….yeah I’ll take that. That SD Offense is very 2011 Patriots looking….right down to the Danny Woodhead.

Niners +6.5 over Steelers, PIT SU
-I don’t know. I just know the Steelers defense continues to be pathetic. If Dion Lewis can get 120 yards on them, Hyde can do far worse.

Rams -3.5 over Ethnic Slurs
-YESSSS.

Saints -10 over Bucs
-You’d have to think Brees will get it on track. Cooks has his breakout game here.

Titans -1 over Browns
-Mariota -1 over Manziel. I didn’t pause to consider an alternative decision.

Ravens -6.5 over Raiders,
-Oh Raiders, I had hope for you this year. Big line, but I think it can still be covered.

Dolphins -6 over Jags
-Jags just aren’t there yet. I’d avoid playing TJ Yeldon anywhere this week.

Eagles -5 over Cowboys
-Eagles got in going in the second half last week, and the Cowboys are hurting without Dez right now. Love Jordan Matthews in this matchup.

Packers -3.5 over Seahawks
-Packers finally get over this mental obstacle.

Jets +7 over Colts, IND SU
-Colts get it back on track and win? Probably. But giving 7, and the Jets playing so well last week? I want the points.

2015 NFL Week 1 Predictions

Week 1 Predictions
Pats  -7 over Steelers
-After this off season, with the banner going up and Tom Brady pissed the hell off, I am not sure how many points it would take for me NOT to take the Pats. The fact that Bell, Bryant, and Pouncey aren’t playing helps a lot.

Panthers -3 over Jags
-Probably a painful game to watch.

Browns +3 over Jets, CLE SU
-No idea, so take the points.

Pack -6.5 over Bears
-Not a nearly high enough line, regardless of GB injuries to start. Lacy, Lacy, Lacy. Blowout.

Colts -2.5 over Bills
-I don’t like this game very much, but it is Luck versus Tyrod Taylor despite anything else.

Chiefs +1 over Texans, KC SU
-I don’t trust the Texans QB situation, and the RB situation isn’t pretty.

Fins -3.5 over Ethnic Slurs
-Lines cannot be created high enough this year versus the Washington Professional Sports franchise.

Rams +4 over Seahawks, SEA SU
-This Rams’ defense is legit and I am going to be picking them a lot this year when the line is over 3.5.

Chargers -3 over Lions
-The Lions are one of my stay away teams because without Suh and Fairley this defense could implode. I like this Chargers offense, even with Gates out for now.

Cards -2.5 over Saints
-Really like this Cards team to win close games, even though I think the Saints will be much improved this year.

Ravens +4.5 over Broncos, BAL SU
-Taking points versus Denver, all year.

Raiders +3.5 over Bengals, CIN SU
-Bengals will be a decent team and win a healthy amount of games, but they don’t blow teams out. I think the Raiders will be sneaky this year, so I am taking the 3.5.

Titans +3 over Bucs, TEN SU
-This is a pro Mariota, anti Jameis pick.

Giants +6 over Cowboys, DAL SU
-Giants have too many weapons, and this should be close even though I think Dallas will win.

Falcons +3.5 over Eagles, ATL SU
-Fantasy game of the week with a lot of points scored. Falcons have an improved defense that gets some edge rush from its offseason additions, and Julio kills the Eagles secondary.

Vikings -2.5 over Niners
-If you want to make a case for the Vikings this year, look at games like this that should be easy wins. I like Bridgewater a lot anyways.

Awards
MVP: Andrew Luck
-Rodgers will be the best player and Brady I think wins the most games, but Luck drags a poorly constructed team to a good win totals and puts up the huge numbers.

OPY: Luck

DPY: JJ Watt
-This is one of those “until further notice this will likely be the pick each year” situations. I do think Khalil Mack is about to blow up though.

ORY: Melvin Gordon
-Just based on opportunity.

DRY: Vic Beaseley
- Again, based on opportunity

COY: Bruce Arians
-He does an awesome job year after year and that Arizona team is quietly really good.
