NFL 2015 Week 8 Predictions

Week 8 Predictions
Pats -8 over Fins
-Bill has been coaching for 40 years in the NFL. Dan Campbell has been alive for 39 years. Brady is 8-0 on Thursday nights. I mean, there is more to this, but I am going to settle right there.

Cards -5.5 over Browns
-Sorry Browns. That was your productive and nice part of the schedule. It is now time for your regularly scheduled “fall apart rapidly”stretch of the year.

Bengals +1.5 over Steelers, CIN SU
-Excuse me? Did we forget how good the Bengals are? We just assuming Ben is fine?

Giants +3.5 over Saints
-Saints are coming a little, but the Giants should be okay here. With a FG, I feel okay about this pick.

Chargers +3.5 over Ravens
-The Chargers aren’t great, but they can move the ball on Baltimore. With a FG is actually an easy proposition.

Rams -8 over Niners
-As Simmons has been saying for a month….if you pressure Colin K, he throws picks and can’t complete simple passes. The Rams, well, they can rush the QB a little bit.

Falcons -7.5 over Bucs
-The Matt Ryan fantasy breakout game is coming. Highly possible it is right here.

Titans pk over Texans
-Mariota is back I assume, so I will ride that. Wow the Texans are bad.

Raiders +3.5 over Jets, OAK SU
-I like my Raiders with over a FG, so I am going to continue to ride it. At some point, the Fitzmagick is running out.

Seahawks -5.5 over Cowboys
-The Cowboys are just getting killed by the schedule as much as injuries right now. This is a bad time to be getting the Seahawks.

Packers -2.5 over Broncos
-Here is a real game for the Broncos, finally. Coming off byes, I really like Rodgers to give Manning his first loss this year.

Colts +7.5 over Panthers, CAR SU
-I honestly don’t know how this is going to go, but 7.5 is way too many points to hand to Andrew Luck.

2015 NFL Week 7 Predictions

Week 7 Predictions
Seahawks -7 over Niners
-The Seahawks just have too much pride and too much to play for. SF doesn’t have the horses to stay with them.

Jags +4 over Bills, JAX SU
-Here London, take another horrid game from us! The Bills are reeling with injuries and actually should have less wins than they do. The Jags are sneaky average on defense and pretty decent on offense on the outside. If Yeldon is healthy, I like the Jags here.

Falcons -5 over Titans
-Weird number, this should just be 7. If Mariota truly isn’t playing, then jump on the 5 before it does jump to 7.

Rams -6.5 over Browns
-The Browns aren’t horrid but the Rams coming off a bye week are going to EAT that offensive line for lunch. Plus….Gurley.

Fins -4 over Texans
-The Fins are awake everyone! There is a lot of talent here. If Dan Campbell can get over his rookie coaching mistakes, they can make a run at a Wild Card spot because of the weak AFC after the division leaders.

Vikings -2 over Lions
-At some point the running game will get on track for the Vikings. The Lions got their win. I expect to see “bad Matt Stafford” at least once in this game against an underrated Vikings defense.

Colts -4 over Saints
-Now that the loss to NE is over, the Colts can collect some easy wins to solidify their playoff berth. Rinse, repeat, year after year. The Saints are a tough team right now because they can move the ball, but not dynamically. And the defense is horrid. Luck is going to dink and dunk all over the place again, but this week it will work.

Jets +8.5 over Pats, NE SU
-Too many points for a good Jets team. The Pats will likely win, but it will be close. I think this Pats team is the best in the league and the SB favorite right now, but it isn’t nearly close enough to full health for some of these games. It shouldn’t surprise me if this was a letdown game for NE.

Steelers pk over Chiefs
-Odd game. Chiefs just aren’t playing for much and the Steelers are. Still if Landry Jones melts down and Marcus Peters returns a pick six for a win I wouldn’t be surprised. I’d love to see Chase Daniels at QB for the Chiefs at some point…

Bucs +3.5 over Ethnic Slurs, WAS SU
-TB isn’t horrid, and Kirk Cousins has been horrid. Take the points. Winston still may throw a pick six here though. Seems to be his thing.

Raiders +3.5 over Chargers, OAK SU
-The rise of the Raiders. The Chargers had over 500 yards passing last week and still couldn’t win. Raiders are rested. This game will have a ton of “Which one is going to LA” mentions though. The answer is the Rams btw.

Giants -3.5 over Cowboys
-When you play QB Roulette…., well, I’m a broken record on that one. The Giants are better and healthier and the Cowboys are starting Matt Cassel.

Panthers -3.5 over Eagles
-I can’t believe I’m saying it, but…the Panthers are good. I picked them last week over Seattle more as a feeling against Seattle than FOR Carolina, but it worked both ways. The Eagles are too high variance to pick, especially in Carolina.

Cards -9 over Ravens
-Season ending game for Baltimore essentially. The Cards will do that thing where they get a pick six and another weird TD, and the score looks even worse than it is. Cards and Pats on a two team tease? Cards and Falcons?

2015 NFL Week 6 Predictions

Week 6 Predictions
Cards -3.5 over Steelers
-Mike Vick barely beat the Chargers defense. This Cards team is for real. Antonio Brown may have his worst game of the season between Vick and Patrick Peterson.

Bears +3 over Lions, DET SU
-Lions shouldn’t be laying points to anyone.

Bengals -3 over Bills
-Am I confused? Bengals are a top 4 NFL team right now. The Bills will start a gimpy Tyrod Taylor or EJ Manuel at QB. Bengals all the way.

Browns +4 over Broncos, DEN SU
-Taking points over 3 anytime I can get them this year versus the Broncos.

Jags -1 over Texans
-Bortles is turning the ship around, and the Allens are very effective right now. The Texans are showing, like I always say, QB Roulette always ends in death.

Vikings -3.5 over Chiefs
-This is the start to a bad final run for the Chiefs. Maybe Alex Smith, Andy Reid, a lot of changes in KC.

Dolphins -1 over Titans
-Titans are a decent team, but I am not sure Wizenhunt is a good coach. And the Fins are going to show more pride coming out of the bye, right?

Jets -7 over Ethnic Slurs
-Rested team versus an overachieving team. I’m in.

Panthers +7 over Seahawks, CAR SU
-Defensive battle with a rested team playing a reeling one. 7 points? I’ll take that gladly.

Ravens -2 over 49ers
-Ugh, I guess?

Packers -10.5 over Chargers
-Tough spot for the Chargers. This may effectively end their season. Cobb gets right in this game as a side note.

Pats -7.5 over Colts
-Yes please. All of this. 7.5? Are you kidding me? Holy heck yes.

Giants +4.5 over Eagles, NYG SU
-The Giants have been decent, and the Eagles have not been nearly consistent enough to seriously be laying 4.5, even at home.

2015 NFL Week 5 Predictions

Week 5 Predictions
Titans +1 over Bills
-Too many injuries, and my boy Mariota had a bye week to prepare. I expect a lot of short catches for Kendall Wright.

Bears +10 over Chiefs, KC SU
-Chiefs shouldn’t be giving 10 points to anyone right now.

Ravens -6.5 over Browns
-Kamar Aiken is a really nice play here.

Jags +2.5 over Bucs, JAX SU
-I’m playing Bortles in a couple of leagues of significance. Stop laughing.

Saints +5 over Eagles, NO SU
-Saints getting over a FG against a non elite team, I will still take. Brees ain’t dead yet.

Bengals -3 over Seahawks,
-Seahawks still just don’t seem right, and still no Lynch. Hmm….

Packers -10 over Rams
-Aaron Rodgers is playing on a different level than anyone else. Brady has a better career, he is playing great, but even that is a particular way of playing. He is cutting people up. Rodgers can slide, dice, cut, rip, tear, and toy with his opponents. If Jordy were there it would be truly scary.

Falcons -7.5 over Ethnic Slurs
-I’m jumping all over this if it dips below 7 points.

Cards -2.5 over Lions
-Lions are done, Cards are righting the ship.

Raiders +4.5 over Broncos, DEN SU
-Too tight a margin, especially in Oakland.

Pats -8.5 over Cowboys
-Oh, yeah! Brandon Weedon!

Giants -6.5 over Niners
-The 49ers are a bad football team. Maybe as bad as the Bears.

Chargers -3 over Steelers
-Mike Vick just isn’t going to cut it.

2015 NFL Week 4 Predictions

Week 4 Predictions
Ravens -2.5 over Steelers
-Michael Vick…

Panthers -3 over Bucs
-I sorta kinda like this Panthers team. Maybe a little bit.

Falcons -6.5 over Texans
-This Falcons team is much better coached, and has maybe the best WR in the league. The Texans have Ryan Mallett.

Bengals -4 over Chiefs
-This Chiefs’ season is going downhill rapidly.

Bills -5.5 over Giants
-Home at Buffalo, Giants all over the place, I guess I’ll take it. If McCoy sits, I love Karlos Williams here.

Raiders -3 over Bears
-Any team versus the Bears, the rest of the season. Sign me up.

Eagles -3 over Ethnic Slurs
-I guess?

Chargers -7.5 over Browns
-I’m giving you one last shot Phillip Rivers.

Packers -8 over Niners
-Excuse me, I just ran to put imaginary dollars on this game. Holy heck lay those points.

Vikings +7.5 over Broncos, DEN SU
-…Don’t talk to me, I’m feeling okay.

Cards -7 over Rams
-Tough because this should be a tight game. But these Cards are rolling.

Saints -4.5 over Cowboys
-Assuming Brees plays. I think the Cowboys’ wheels come off. Stay away.

Seahawks -10 over Lions
-Poor Lions. They aren’t this bad, but they are this bad.
