2021 NFL Week 16 Predictions

2021 NFL Week 16 Predictions

Packers -7.5 over Browns, 34-20

-I mean, could you stop this Packer's offense right now?

Colts +2.5 over Cards, 23-21

-Colts firing on all cylinders. Big JT game.

Falcons -7 over Lions, 20-12

-Taking the team with it's QB. Will be a theme.

Eagles -10 over Giants, 23-6

-See above.

Jets and Jags, you cannot make me pick. I won't do it. I refuse. Neither team has a head coach. Both rookie QBs trapped in spiral of terror. Nope. Won't do it.

Bucs -10 over Panthers, 20-6

-Team that has it's QB (even if it has little else) over a team with 3. And if you have 3, you have none.

Chargers -10.5 over Texans, 31-17

-Ekeler might be back in time. Either way, big day for Chargers starting what hopefully is a long run.

Pats -2 over Bills, 24-20

-At home this time, Bills losing players by the day.

Viks +4.5 over Rams, 30-31

-Just taking the feisty team at home with the points.

Bengals -4.5 over Ravens, 30-20

-Quick, before this line jumps for Huntley being sick.

Seahawks -6 over Bears, 26-13

-Russ, wake up. Foles!

Raiders pk over Broncos, 19-16

-Qb over not their QB.

Chiefs -8.5 over Steelers, 30-20

-Im guessing KC gets some of their WR/TEs back.

Cowboys -10 over WFT, 31-16

-QB over whatever is left at QB.

Fins -2.5 over Saints, 20-13

-QB over not the QB.

2021 NFL Week 15 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 15 Predictions

Pats +2.5 over Colts, 27-23

-It is true that the Pats’ biggest weakness is stopping the run right now, which is worrisome. So is Damien Harris being out in this game. However, everything else points to the Pats being significantly better. Plus, it’s still Bill vs. Wentz.

Bills -13 over Panthers, 26-12

-That’s a lot of points, I wish I had gotten it at 12.5. But, these are two teams pointed in two very different directions.

Jags -5 over Texans, 20-3

-I can’t believe the Jags are laying 5 to anybody. However, the week you get rid of such a bad presence like Urban Meyer can cause a nice positive reaction. Plus, the Texans suck and are packing it in.

Titans +2.5 over Steelers, 27-22

-A tough, physical game between two AFC contenders. However, one team has been much better in close games and is getting healthier. While the other…has Ben Roethlisberger.

Cards -12.5 over Lions, 33-10

-Hopkins’ injury notwithstanding, the Cards offense is way too good for Detroit to stay with.

Dolphins -10 over Jets, 24-6

-Dolphins are well-rested and at least have a chance at the playoffs.

Cowboys -11.5 over Giants, 30-12

-This could actually be uglier than this.

Bengals +3 over Broncos, 26-24

-I still think the Bengals will win the AFC North, so to get 3 points with them is a gift.

Falcons +9 over 49ers, 27-28

-49ers are likely going to win this game, but quietly they are 6-7 and 9 points is too much.

Packers -7 over Ravens, 31-20

-Honestly, I don’t care about Lamar’s ankle. Top to bottom, the Packers are the best team in the NFL.

Bucs -11.5 over Saints, 30-16

-Loved this pick before coach Payton got COVID. Saints aren’t beating the Bucs twice in one season.

Browns -3 over Raiders, 23-17

-This game getting moved is probably enough for the Browns to get themselves together and grind out an easy win.

Vikings -6 over Bears, 27-17

-Just way too much offensive talent in Minnesota.

Rams -6 over Seahawks, 31-22

-Seattle has made a nice effort over the last few weeks, but here’s where it ends. Rams are going to make a nice run to the postseason starting now.

Eagles -6 over WFT, 27-13

-Even if some of the COVID folks make it back, the Eagles are much better on both sides of the ball.

2021 NFL Week 14 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 14 Predictions

Browns -3 over Ravens, 24-20

-I think the Ravens are better, but they are too injured, playing off a tough loss, and can't run the ball(!). Just can’t bet on them right now.

Cowboys -4.5 over WFT, 31-20

-The Football team has been a good story for a few weeks now, but this is a very different kind of test. Cowboys will have almost everyone healthy, and this really shouldn’t be difficult.

Chiefs -10 over Raiders, 33-20

-Last week, I bet two things wrong. First, that the Raiders were still halfway decent. Second, that the Chiefs would win games but not be able to cover. I’m not going to make either mistake here.

Seahawks -8.5 over Texans, 27-17

-The Davis Mills era, everybody.

Titans -8 over Jags, 24-10

-Ok so, can we just somehow negotiate Urban Meyer leaving Jacksonville? Seems like it would be better for everyone at this point.

Saints -5 over Jets, 21-6

-No Carter, Moore, Coleman, Davis….and Kamara is back. Yikes. Good luck, Zach.

Falcons +3 over Panthers, 22-20

-I can’t say that I love the Falcons…but should the Panthers be favored over anyone right now?

Broncos -11 over Lions, 20-3

-Lions without their best two RBs, on the road, after finally getting a win. Let’s just say I see their final standings with a 1 in the win column.

Chargers -9.5 over Giants, 30-13

-The Giraffe is going to have a big problem versus the Chargers defense. Hopefully Herbert can still produce points without Keenan Allen (for my fantasy team, they’ll be fine in this game regardless).

Bengals +2 over 49ers, 24-20

-What the heck is this line?? The Bengals are at home! They have a better record. Sure, their QB may not have an operational pinkie…but I’m sure it will be okay.

Bucs -3.5 over Bills, 31-27

-Two things can be true at once. First, last week’s Bills/Pats game can be an aberration. Second, the Bills team can still be in trouble due to inconsistent play, imbalance in their team, inability to run the ball, and some questions about communication and approach by the coaching staff. None of this is what you want to take into the home of the defending champions. Oh, and Brady played the Bills twice a year, every year for the past 20 years and has lost 3 times.

Packers -12 over Bears, 31-17

-I mean, he owns them.

Cards -2.5 over Rams, 37-31

-I’m not one of the people super worried about the Rams. Overall, they’ll be fine. And this game could have the correct script for Stafford, Kupp, and company, to look good offensively. But I have to be honest and say that Arizona, dealing with significant injuries for more than a month now, is still sitting at 10-2 and has been really impressive. They’re at home, Kyler is only getting healthier, and it’s not a full 3.

2021 NFL Week 13 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 13 Predictions

Cards -7.5 over Bears, 30-17

-The return of a healthy Kyler and generally rested team should mean an easy win over the Andy Dalton Bears.

Eagles -5 over Jets, 20-11

-Honestly, it shouldn’t even really matter if Jalen Hurts plays. The ability for the Eagles to run the ball and be more physical should make this an easy win.

Colts -10 over Texans, 27-6

-Colts are going to pound the hell out of the Texans.

Chargers +3 over Bengals, 31-33

-The Bengals look like they should win this game. The Chargers have better net stats, but the Bengals are way more efficient with running and passing the ball. I’ll take the 3 points, because the Chargers offense is pretty good. But the Bengals here are probably the better winner pick.

Bucs -10.5 over Falcons, 33-22

-I asked my fiance if it was crazy to take the Falcons at home with 10.5, thinking that’s just a big number to cover. She did confirm that Matt Ryan is still on the team, and therefore the Bucs are still the play.

Dolphins -6.5 over Giants, 23-10

-Free money, everybody. Mike Glennon is involved.

Vikings -7.5 over Lions, 31-10

-His name is Alexander Mattison.

Rams -13 over Jaguars, 31-10

-Damn, that’s a huge number…but Urban Meyer is still involved.

Raiders -1 over WFT, 24-22

-Here again is another matchup where I don’t want to like the Raiders, but it just makes sense to take them.

Ravens -4.5 over Steelers, 27-12

-Looks like this is Ben’s last year. The surprise is Ben, most of us knew that before you did.

Seahawks +3.5 over 49ers, 23-17

-My fiance groaned “oh no” when I read this one, but here’s the case. It’s a division game so they are always tight and hard fought. The 49ers are on the road, Seattle is starting to figure themselves out, and the 49ers are missing their two best players. So, I’m just taking the 3.5.

Broncos +9.5 over Chiefs, 23-27

-Chiefs are going to win this game, but they would’ve only covered a big line once in the past six weeks. 9.5 is just a hair too little, but pressed to it I’d rather just have the points.

Pats +3.5 over Bills, 24-20

-I’m not exactly sure how this is going to go, so I’m really just grabbing the points. What I can tell you is that this is going to be physical, rough, cold…an AFC East battle in December.

2021 NFL Week 12 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 12 Predictions

Bears -3 over Lions, 22-14

-This is a terrible football game and we will all still watch it in its entirety.

Cowboys -7.5 over Raiders, 30-17

-Who really knows? But, the Raider’s problems seem systematic and likely aren’t going to change. The Cowboys seem to have injury issues that they will get over.

Bills -6 over Saints, 31-12

-This poor, fractured Saints offense.

Falcons -2 over Jags, 17-13

-Any time you can take a 4 win team on the road...in Week 12....that has only scored 3 points in 8 quarters....and you STILL have to lay 2 points with them. You gotta do that, right?

Texans -2.5 over Jets, 20-13

-See, you messed up, Houston. Tyrod might be just competent enough to win a few here. Go see the Chargers medical staff. They know what to do.

Pats -6 over Titans, 27-13

-Titans are just leaking Oil on offense.

Eagles -3.5 over Giants, 26-16

-Eagles have found something here. They are going to run the hell out of this game.

Bengals -4.5 over Steelers, 27-10

-I know the Bengals have been up and down, but we have seen how they match up with the Steelers already this season. No reason to think it’s going to go any different.

Bucs -3 over Colts, 31-23

-I think the Bucs are back and are maybe the team best designed to stop Indy’s running game.

Panthers -2 over Dolphins, 19-14

-I have no idea what to make of Miami, but Carolina at least has heart. And CMC...that helps, too.

Chargers -2 over Broncos, 30-22

-Grab this before it goes to 3. These are both good teams, but it’s the case of one team with a higher ceiling offensively than the other.

Vikings +3 over 49ers, 31-23

-The advanced stats all love the Vikings this year. And since San Francisco can seemingly only win versus really bad teams...I’m leaning towards the far more explosive Vikings.

Packers +1 over Rams, 32-28

-I know the Rams are rested and the Packers are dealing with a handful of injuries. However, this is still an LA dome team coming to Lambeau at the end of November versus the Packers defense that has quietly been very tough and very consistent.

Ravens -3.5 over Browns, 24-20

-I guess. I can’t believe I have to watch this SNF game.

WFT -1 over Seahawks, 20-17

-Somehow I like this even less than the Baltimore/Cleveland game. What an ugly night game set.

2021 NFL Week 11 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 11 Predictions

49ers -6.5 over Jags, 24-10

-49ers are still in it, Jags aren’t.

Panthers -3.5 over WFT, 21-13

-All Cam and Washington had their big win last week.

Packers -1 over Vikings, 34-24

-Packers just giving away free money.

Browns -12 over Lions, 27-6

-Really the Browns shouldn’t be giving 12 to anyone, but Tim Boyle is involved.

Bills -7 over Colts, 31-22

-This should be a tough physical game, but I just can’t see the Colts efficiently putting up the 30+ that would be needed to win.

Eagles -2.5 over Saints, 20-16

-I really like this Saints team still, but without Kamara, there’s just not much here offensively.

Dolphins -3 over Jets, 16-12

-I guess?

Ravens -6 over Bears, 26-19

-Bears losing Mack hurts.

Titans -10 over Texans, 31-6

-This might be ugly.

Bengals -1 over Raiders, 31-27

-Hopefully, this is the re-breakout game for a lot of offensive players.

Cowboys +3 over Chiefs, 31-30

-I felt way better about this before Amari got COVID, but still think the Cowboys can play ball control and are a more well-rounded team than the Chiefs.

Cards -2 over Seahawks, 33-23

-This assumes Russell will play well. He very well may not.

Chargers -6 over Steelers, 31-13

-Chargers have been in a rut, but they get right in this game. Half the Steelers defense is out and Ben may still have COVID.

Bucs -11 over Giants, 33-20

-Brady is not going to lose 3 in a row.
