Week 16 Predictions

Ethnic Slurs -3 over Eagles

-Eagles continue to collapse.

I am avoiding Panthers games for the last two weeks. Also anything Bears or Bucs, which is convenient because they play each other. The Cowboys/Bills game offends me on general principle.

Lions -10 over Niners

-Lions can score, Niners can’t.

Chiefs -10.5 over Browns

-Wow did the schedule break right for KC.

Pats -3 over Jets

-There is a lot of reason to choose either side, but in any close game with only a FG line and something reasonable for the Pats to play for (home field throughout), I’ll stay with Brady and Belichick.

Texans -3.5 over Titans

-No Hoyer but the defense carries this for the playoff bound Texans.

Steelers -10 over Ravens

-Lock of the week. Ravens may give a good try, but how the hell they cover the air attack, I have no idea.

Jags +3 over Saints, JAX SU

-Uncertainty over Brees makes me concerned. Taking the team I know will be able to score and is going in the right direction.

Cards -4.5 over Packers

-Low confidence because Arizona is much better but Green Bay have far more motivation to win.

Seahawks -12 over Rams

-Two team tease with Steelers? Yes please.

Vikings -6.5 over Giants

-Giants are falling out of it and this is a nail in the coffin without OBJ.

Bengals +3.5 over Broncos

-Just a hunch, taking the points in a close game.

Cards -3.5 over Eagles

-The Cards march forward toward their bye week.

Jags -3 over Falcons

-The Falcons are bad. Really bad. I can’t believe how bad.

Giants +4 over Panthers, NYG SU

-This is it. Home dog, big offense, hurt Panthers.

Vikings -5.5 over Bears

-Season is over for the Bears at this point, Vikings want that playoff spot.

Chiefs -6.5 over Ravens

-Chiefs just keep winning. Don’t look now, but that AFC West title is still alive….

Broncos +7 over Steelers, PIT SU

-…Because the Steelers are probably going to beat the Broncos this week. 7 points is a lot though.

Fins +1 over Chargers

-Chargers are so far beat up this is simply a pick against them.

Seahawks -14.5 over Browns

-That half point makes me nervous, but this should be a blowout by all accounts.

Pats -14 over Titans

-Ditto.

Packers -3 over Raiders

-I like the Raiders, but this is where the Packers should be waking up and going forward decisively.

Bengals -6 over Niners

-Even with AJ at QB, they can cover this versus the listless Niners.

Saints -2.5 over Lions

-Why not? The Lions are back down after showing some life, and the Saints are good for a 40 point showing at home on Monday night one more time in the Brees/Payton era.

Falcons +8 over Panthers, CAR SU

-Panthers defense is not right. Take the points until further notice.

Lions -3.5 over Rams

-Lions are trying, Rams have quit. Or Jeff Fisher doesn’t know how to coach in the 21^st century. It is called the forward pass Jeff.

Jags -1.5 over Colts

-Jags can throw. Matt Hasselbeck is looking really old.

Saints +4.5 over Bucs, TB SU

-Too many points for Drew Brees, still.

Pats -3.5 over Texans

-Brady/Bill are not losing this game. It just isn’t happening.

Bengals -2.5 over Steelers

-If this stays under 3, I love it. Bengals essentially can end Steelers’ season.

Chargers  +10.5 over Chiefs, KC SU

-Just cover.

Titans +7.5 over Jets, NYJ SU

-Mariota!

Raiders +6.5 over Broncos, DEN SU

-It is going to be relatively low scoring, so I just want all those points.

Packers -6.5 over Cowboys

-I don’t think the Cowboys can score. I wouldn’t take the over in this game in general.

Ravens +11.5 over Seahawks, SEA SU

-Seattle will probably crush the Ravens from the eye test, but that’s a lot of points and home dogs getting more than 11 points are 70% winners.

Giants -1.5 over Fins

-Who even knows anymore with these two.

Texans -2.5 over Bills

-The Texans are rolling, and the Bills can’t get healthy. Time for the end of the season Rex breakdown.

Falcons +2.5 over Bucs, ATL SU

-Falcons have severely fallen off, but they still have a realistic playoff shot.

Bears -6.5 over 49ers

-Bears somewhat have it together now.

Bengals -6.5 over Browns

-How is this not over a touchdown.

Jags +2.5 over Titans

-The Titans want that top pick…

Cards -5.5 over Rams

-The Rams might need to figure out the forward pass to be competitive here.

Fins -4.5 over Ravens

-Matt Schaub’s pick six tour continues!

Seahawks over Vikings

-Tough, defensive game but now the difference is the Seattle passing offense’s ability to move the ball.

Giants +2 over Jets

-Too many injuries the Jets, especially Revis.

Broncos -4.5 over Chargers

-I like this Broncos team to roll until that Bengals team.

Chiefs -2.5 over Raiders

-Chiefs are rolling forward, keeping on that train.

Pats -9.5 over Eagles

-The Pats are going to win this game, and big. But if it creeps over 10, I won’t be taking it.

Saints +8.5 over Panthers, CAR SU

-Too many points, but a probably Carolina win.

Colts +6.5 over Steelers, PIT SU

-Too many points for a team over .500.

-Cowboys are just done.

Chiefs -5.5 over Bills

-Chiefs need it, and the Bills are falling out of it. The Bills have health issues on the DLine too.

Fins +4 over Jets, MIA SU

-Jets are hurting right now, and reeling. Fins last stand.

Vikings +2.5 over Falcons, MIN SU

-Falcons shouldn’t be laying points to anyone right now.

Texans -3 over Saints

-The Texans remain feisty, and more importantly, in the playoff race. Good luck Saints, the defense can’t be WORSE.

Giants -2.5 over Ethnic Slurs

-Giants can almost sow up a division title with a win here, which is crazy.

Raiders -1 over Titans

-Carr over Mariota. Marcus, almost.

Jags -5.5 over Chargers

-Phil Rivers is healthy and I’m laying 5.5 with the Jags…wow I wish you could tell people in August this would be a thing.

Rams +9.5 over Bengals, CIN SU

-Too many points.

Bucs +3.5 over Colts, IND SU

-Too many points with how well the Bucs are playing right now.

Cards -10.5 over Niners

-People realize this Cards team is better than the Seahawks team right? Then why was the line 14 for that game…?

Seahawks -3.5 over Steelers

-Tough game, but the Steelers are going to fall to exactly this type of team: tough and physically dominant.

Pats -2.5 over Broncos

-Belichick over rookie/young QB not even giving a full FG? Yeah, I’ll get all over that, even with all the WRs and OLinemen out for NE right now.

I’m not picking that mess of a Monday Night Football game. Can’t make me do it.

-Romo will more than likely be a little rusty.

-Can the Chiefs win this division? Let’s find out! Gase and Fox know Brock O and with Peyton MIA, things may be weird for Denver.

Packers -1 over Vikings

-Um….relax?

Falcons -5 over Colts

-It isn’t a game in the AFC South, so I’m assuming the Luck-less Colts won’t be able to win it.

Raiders +1 over Lions

-Am I missing something here? I love this game for the Raiders.

Rams +3 over Ravens, STL SU

-The Ravens season is done.

Bucs +5.5 over Eagles, PHI SU

-Very timidly.

Ethnic Slurs +7.5 over Panthers, CAR SU

-Too many points.

Cards -5 over Bengals

-Carson Palmer revenge game, and the Bengals got exposed a little bit.

Seahawks -13 over Niners

-I am SO excited to see Blaine Gabbert throw pick sixes.

Chiefs -3 over Chargers

-The Chargers are just so beat up right now.

Pats -7.5 over Bills

-Tough line but it is Tyrod Taylor we are talking about.

Panthers -4 over Titans

-For my friend Ethan, I am going to keep pounding these lines and hope this WR-less team keeps covering.

Rams -7 over Bears

-Bears are better than you think, but the Rams defense is going to eviscerate the Bears offensive line. I am awaiting the weekly Jay Cutler point of contact interception.

Browns +6.5 over Steelers, PIT SU

-No idea about the QB situation in Pittsburgh, and I’m just taking the points.

Packers -10.5 over Lions

-I got this Aaron: “RELAX”.

Jags +4.5 over Ravens, JAX SU

-I love this Jags team a little too much. The Ravens just might be done for the year.

Saints +1 over Ethnic Slurs

-Might be a mini shootout, but the Saints can run and the DC Grudens can’t do that very well right now.

Raiders -3 over Vikings

-A rising young team that can throw the ball against a rising young team that can run the ball. It’s 2015.

Chiefs +4.5 over Broncos, DEN SU

-Too many points. I have no idea if I am on tilt versus Denver at this point to be completely honest.

Pats -7.5 over Giants

-This game makes me a little nervous but I’m still not betting against Brady until further notice.

Cards +3 over Seahawks, ARI SU

-No respect for my Cardinals. This is a better team than Seattle, and Arizona can essentially eliminate Seattle with a win here.

Bengals -11 over Texans

-Andy Dalton! Prime Time! Going to be 2-0 this year! This game makes me nervous, but it’s a top 5 team against a bottom 5 team. Top 5 team is at home. I mean…

Bengals -11.5 over Browns

-Manziel in primetime? I love these Bengals.

Packers -2.5 over Panthers

-The Packers get right as the Panthers finally feel the lack of quality wide receiver options.

Jags +8 over Jets, JAX SU

-The Jets are coming back to earth, and Fitzmagick is hurt right now. I kind of like this Jags team.

Fins +2.5 over Bills, MIA SU

-Buffalo is reeling, I’ll take the fish to get back to it and play very well on defense.

Raiders +4.5 over Steelers, OAK SU

-Too many injuries for Pittsburgh, and I love the Oakland WRs here.

Rams +1 over Vikings

-The Rams are going to out-physical the Vikings on both lines. Gurley proves he’s the best back in the league…playing directly opposite Peterson.

Saints -7.5 over Titans

-If Mariota plays I’d pause a little, but the Saints are coming and the Titans can’t stop the run.

Pats -14 over Ethnic Slurs

-Big spread, and I’ll stay away, but this seems like a 34-13 special to me.

Falcons -7.5 over 49ers

-Blaine Gabbert everyone! Falcons are coming at some point, might as well be here.

Giants -2.5 over Bucs

-Is this Giants team good? I still just don’t trust Jameis Winston.

Colts +5 over Broncos, DEN SU

-The Colts play these Broncos well, and something has to give at some point. The Colts can’t be this bad and the Broncos can’t be this good.

Eagles -3 over Cowboys

-I guess? Cowboys are still starting Cassel so…

Bears +4.5 over Chargers, CHI SU

-I like these Chargers, but the Bears have been sneaky competent and the Chargers are the walking dead of the NFL right now.

Pats -8 over Fins

-Bill has been coaching for 40 years in the NFL. Dan Campbell has been alive for 39 years. Brady is 8-0 on Thursday nights. I mean, there is more to this, but I am going to settle right there.

Cards -5.5 over Browns

-Sorry Browns. That was your productive and nice part of the schedule. It is now time for your regularly scheduled “fall apart rapidly”stretch of the year.

Bengals +1.5 over Steelers, CIN SU

-Excuse me? Did we forget how good the Bengals are? We just assuming Ben is fine?

Giants +3.5 over Saints

-Saints are coming a little, but the Giants should be okay here. With a FG, I feel okay about this pick.

Chargers +3.5 over Ravens

-The Chargers aren’t great, but they can move the ball on Baltimore. With a FG is actually an easy proposition.

Rams -8 over Niners

-As Simmons has been saying for a month….if you pressure Colin K, he throws picks and can’t complete simple passes. The Rams, well, they can rush the QB a little bit.

Falcons -7.5 over Bucs

-The Matt Ryan fantasy breakout game is coming. Highly possible it is right here.

Titans pk over Texans

-Mariota is back I assume, so I will ride that. Wow the Texans are bad.

Raiders +3.5 over Jets, OAK SU

-I like my Raiders with over a FG, so I am going to continue to ride it. At some point, the Fitzmagick is running out.

Seahawks -5.5 over Cowboys

-The Cowboys are just getting killed by the schedule as much as injuries right now. This is a bad time to be getting the Seahawks.

Packers -2.5 over Broncos

-Here is a real game for the Broncos, finally. Coming off byes, I really like Rodgers to give Manning his first loss this year.

Colts +7.5 over Panthers, CAR SU

-I honestly don’t know how this is going to go, but 7.5 is way too many points to hand to Andrew Luck.
