2015 NFL Week 7 Predictions

Week 7 Predictions
Seahawks -7 over Niners
-The Seahawks just have too much pride and too much to play for. SF doesn’t have the horses to stay with them.

Jags +4 over Bills, JAX SU
-Here London, take another horrid game from us! The Bills are reeling with injuries and actually should have less wins than they do. The Jags are sneaky average on defense and pretty decent on offense on the outside. If Yeldon is healthy, I like the Jags here.

Falcons -5 over Titans
-Weird number, this should just be 7. If Mariota truly isn’t playing, then jump on the 5 before it does jump to 7.

Rams -6.5 over Browns
-The Browns aren’t horrid but the Rams coming off a bye week are going to EAT that offensive line for lunch. Plus….Gurley.

Fins -4 over Texans
-The Fins are awake everyone! There is a lot of talent here. If Dan Campbell can get over his rookie coaching mistakes, they can make a run at a Wild Card spot because of the weak AFC after the division leaders.

Vikings -2 over Lions
-At some point the running game will get on track for the Vikings. The Lions got their win. I expect to see “bad Matt Stafford” at least once in this game against an underrated Vikings defense.

Colts -4 over Saints
-Now that the loss to NE is over, the Colts can collect some easy wins to solidify their playoff berth. Rinse, repeat, year after year. The Saints are a tough team right now because they can move the ball, but not dynamically. And the defense is horrid. Luck is going to dink and dunk all over the place again, but this week it will work.

Jets +8.5 over Pats, NE SU
-Too many points for a good Jets team. The Pats will likely win, but it will be close. I think this Pats team is the best in the league and the SB favorite right now, but it isn’t nearly close enough to full health for some of these games. It shouldn’t surprise me if this was a letdown game for NE.

Steelers pk over Chiefs
-Odd game. Chiefs just aren’t playing for much and the Steelers are. Still if Landry Jones melts down and Marcus Peters returns a pick six for a win I wouldn’t be surprised. I’d love to see Chase Daniels at QB for the Chiefs at some point…

Bucs +3.5 over Ethnic Slurs, WAS SU
-TB isn’t horrid, and Kirk Cousins has been horrid. Take the points. Winston still may throw a pick six here though. Seems to be his thing.

Raiders +3.5 over Chargers, OAK SU
-The rise of the Raiders. The Chargers had over 500 yards passing last week and still couldn’t win. Raiders are rested. This game will have a ton of “Which one is going to LA” mentions though. The answer is the Rams btw.

Giants -3.5 over Cowboys
-When you play QB Roulette…., well, I’m a broken record on that one. The Giants are better and healthier and the Cowboys are starting Matt Cassel.

Panthers -3.5 over Eagles
-I can’t believe I’m saying it, but…the Panthers are good. I picked them last week over Seattle more as a feeling against Seattle than FOR Carolina, but it worked both ways. The Eagles are too high variance to pick, especially in Carolina.

Cards -9 over Ravens
-Season ending game for Baltimore essentially. The Cards will do that thing where they get a pick six and another weird TD, and the score looks even worse than it is. Cards and Pats on a two team tease? Cards and Falcons?

Record last week:
Straight Up: 9-4
By Spread: 7-6

Record this year:
Straight Up: 52-30
By Spread: 43-39

Lifetime record:
Straight Up: 855-460
By Spread: 693-610
