2021 NFL Week 5 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 5 Predictions

Rams -3 over Seahawks, 27-23

-I had it everybody, calm down. Wish I got more out of Stafford...but I got it.

Falcons -2.5 over Jets, 20-17

-Send our best and brightest to London, everyone. Take the over on Pitts, because if he doesn’t do it this week, he never will.

Saints -2.5 over WFT, 23-20

-I don’t know what to do with this Saints team, but the extra half point makes me feel okay picking the tougher and better-coached team.

Packers -3 over Bengals, 37-28

-Ooh! Free money! In what world are the Bengals covering this spread?

Vikings -10 over Lions, 24-9

-Oh, I see we’ve gone from “Lions are playing tough and hanging in there” to “This team isn’t very good and their limited options are now well-known by other opponents.”

Broncos -1.5 over Steelers, 21-16

-Ok...I was a little overzealous in picking the Broncos last week. This week, I feel better about it because the Steelers have the complete opposite player from Lamar Jackson in Big Ben. Bridgewater seems okay, so that’ll be enough.

Titans -4.5 over Jags, 26-20

-The Titans don’t look good, have injuries everywhere, and haven’t put four good quarters together all year. However, the Jags coach is spending time at the club and has probably lost his team. Can’t bet on that.

Panthers -3 over Eagles, 31-20

-The Eagles can kind of score on offense. The Panthers can stop people fairly well on defense. The Eagles can’t stop anyone on defense. The Panthers have DJ Moore. Thank you for listening to my geometry proof.

Bucs -10 over Dolphins, 36-12

-The battle of Florida. Oh, that’s right, none of us care.

Patriots -8 over Texans, 17-6

-I’m extremely and aggressively aware the Patriots are missing FOUR offensive linemen. However, it appears that Davis Mills is missing talent. This could be ugly.

Chargers -2.5 over Browns, 31-20

-The talent is not that different in this matchup. The problem is that Cleveland, especially with whatever is going on with Baker, cannot score with the Chargers.

Raiders -5.5 over Bears, 27-21

-Fields starting is good for the Bears. Bill Lazor calling the plays for the Bears is also good (Matt Nagy shouldn’t call plays). But, the Raiders have been a much more efficient team this year, are coming off of a loss, and are at home. It’s just too much.

Cardinals -5 over 49ers, 32-24

-*Gritted Teeth* I WANT TO PICK THIS UPSET SO BADLY. I can see the game script. They run the ball 45 times, Trey Lance has 10 RPOs, and 10 play actions. But I can’t. It’s Kyler. He’s going to run around and make 5 plays a game that no one else can.

Cowboys -7 over Giants, 39-31

-BIG points in this game. With my under-the-radar, fantasy superstar, Danny Dimes. However, the Dallas offensive machine rolls through. They are just a much better team top to bottom.

Bills +3 over Chiefs, 34-31

-I understand that Josh Allen is 0-2 versus the Chiefs. However, the offenses almost don’t matter because they are so similar. An elite QB, with a few star-positioned players, can’t really run the ball, and do a few wild and unexpectedly great things every game. The difference is that the Bills have a far more talented and consistent defense right now.

Ravens -7 over Colts, 24-14

-This almost feels like a Monday night where both teams meet, discuss their desire to move quickly through the game, each run the ball 40-45 times, and we’re all done by 10:50 PM.
