2021 NFL Week 4 Predictions

 2021 NFL Week 4 Predictions

Saints -7 over Giants, 24-14

-Saints look well-coached, physical, disciplined. Even if they aren’t exciting, those are still qualities the Giants don’t have at all.

Chiefs -6.5 over Eagles, 34-19

-Getting the 6.5 is like free money. Mahomes and Hill might have a huge day.

Bills -17.5 over Texans, 34-10

-The only way that the Texans cover this is if Buffalo is beating them so badly that the game slows down.

Cowboys -4 over Panthers, 27-21

-This is probably a stay-away game because the Panthers have earned that respect this season. But with Dallas starting to put all of the offensive pieces together, and the defense being surprisingly good, this has to be the pick.

Browns -1.5 over Vikings, 30-27

-Just taking the solid team over the exciting team.

Dolphins -2 over Colts, 22-17

-....I guess?

Titans -6 over Jets, 27-10

-Listen, everybody, this is going to be my Eliminator pick. But I’m nervous about it. The Jets have to win one this year. This is at home, with Tennessee missing AJ and Julio. Most likely, DH runs for 200 yards and it’s fine...but I’m still nervous.

Lions +3 over Bears, 24-23

-The Lions are well-coached, try-hard, and have a competent QB. Meanwhile, the Bears’ coach is reminding us on Twitter that they know what they’re doing. I don’t think they know what they’re doing.

WFT -1.5 over Falcons, 17-13

-Falcons were lucky to get a win last week, and WFT is much better than the Giants. Side note: what are the odds that Heinicke keeps the job the whole year? I’ll buy those odds.

Rams -4.5 over Cards, 33-26

-Cards have been impressive so far, but the Rams have a much longer track record of solid coaching and sustained excellence. Plus, they can’t stop Cooper Kupp.

49ers -2.5 over Seahawks, 26-23

-I have to get off Seattle at some point. Their defense isn’t good, and overall they aren’t consistent.

Packers -6 over Steelers, 31-13

-I think this is it. The game the wheels come off. Pittsburgh has been struggling for its last 10 total games or so. But mostly out of the spotlight. If you squint hard enough, you see the real team. But from a distance, it looks more like a smaller decline. Well, here’s a close focus: prime-time game, Green Bay, Lambeau field.

Broncos +1 over Ravens, 22-20

-The Ravens are absolutely more exciting. But, respect to the quietly efficient, tough, winning time in Denver. Add in Lamar being hurt, I’m taking Denver.

Bucs -7 over Pats, 34-20

-This is probably going to be ugly.

Chargers -3 over Raiders, 31-27

-The record looks great, but I trust the talent and execution more from the Chargers than the Raiders.
