2019 NFL Week 5 Predictions

Week 5 Predictions
 Rams +1.5 over Seahawks, 33-20
-I honestly thought the Rams would win easily, but hey, I’ll take the cover even if it feels ugly.

Jags +3.5 over Panthers, 22-20
-Minshew! It’s the extra half point, which is going to be a theme this week.

Cards +3.5 over Bengals, 20-17
-Me and the Bengals are fighting. Cards are a prettier and flashier team, and I’ve been there with Larry Fitz before so many times it is comfortable.

Falcons +5 over Texans, 23-26
-Low confidence, but I don’t trust Houston to cover 5.

Saints -3 over Bucs, 29-24
-Confidence pick in the overall quality of the Saints and the nature of the Bucs to screw it up every few games.

Vikings -5 over Giants, 27-20
-If the Vikings lose this and still can’t pass, then it will be time for a full reckoning.

Bears -5.5 over Raiders, 20-6
-London game, glad we give them our best offensive showcases year after year.

Eagles -14 over Jets, 31-6
-No Darnold still, this could get ugly.

Ravens -3 over Steelers, 31-13
-This will get ugly. The Ravens will tee off, and the Steelers have the false confidence of thrashing my former flame the Bengals.

Pats -15.5 over Washington, 30-6
-Wow this could be worse than the Eagles-Jets game. Yikes.

Chargers -6.5 over Broncos, 30-17
-Chargers still have that opening to be the 3rd best AFC team. It’s right there Bolts. Go on through.

Packers +3.5 over Cowboys, 27-24
-I kind of like the Packers anyways, and that 3.5 is too good to miss. The Cowboys miss their star tackle, and it shows in their production.

Chiefs -10.5 over Colts, 34-17
-The Colts are so beat up any chance they had is likely gone.

Browns +3.5 over 49ers, 24-23
-I honestly don’t know what to do with this, so I am going to take the extra half point. The 49ers aren’t a true “3-0” team by performance. The Browns are finally revving up.

Record last week:

By Spread: 5-9

Record this year:

By Spread: 25-33

Lifetime record:
Straight Up: 1441-791
